The next few weeks we will be studying the book of Habakkuk. This book though small, yet it has a powerful message on the theme of violence. Does God really care about the violence that is happening down here on earth? Has he ever intervened since Cain and Abel? Can he do something now? How about September 11, where was God when that horrible evil was released on our beloved country?
Habakkuk lived 600 years BC. Is his message relevant today; are his questions legitimate and helpful? How about the nations involved, Judah and Israel, the Chaldeans or Mesopotamians, the Egyptians? What can we learn from them? How similar were they to us, how different? What happened to them?
Join us every Saturday at 4:00pm on the 3rd floor of the UBF Student Center.

What is a man? Society has promoted a distorted view of a man. These views of men can be found in many modern jokes, For example, Q:Why don't men have mid-life crises? A: They stay stuck in adolescence. Q: How does a man show he's planning for the Future?
A: He buys two cases of beer instead of one. Q. What do men and mascara have in common?
A. They both run at the first sign of emotion.
Let us join together and find out what is truly the meaning of manhood.
Join us every Wednesday at 6:00am and Saturday at 8:00am on the 3rd floor of the UBF Student Center. We will watch Pastor Lewis' lecture and afterwards discuss his points in groups. If you have any questions about the series, please call 312-307-7005.
Who We Are
Our ministry serves the West Loop area. We welcome everyone to worship with us. Our ministry provides Bible studies, conferences, a vibrant youth and music ministry. Please join us on Saturday and Sunday for worship. Our Worship Service consist of praise music by a live band, Bible message, lunch and wonderful fellowship.
West Loop Ministry is a branch of The University Bible Fellowship (UBF). UBF is a non-denominational, evangelistic campus organization focused on raising disciples of Jesus who can live sacrificial lives for the gospel and contribute to society and their nation by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to college students and young people. UBF serves world evangelism by raising lay missionaries and sending them throughout the world.
For this purpose, U.B.F. teaches the Bible to college students and young people and helps them to live according to the teachings of the Scriptures and to practice the world mission command of Jesus (Acts 1:8). The University Bible Fellowship is a mainline evangelical organization and is dedicated to the task of student evangelism.
